Murphy has decided that my new flowerbed is the perfect place to leave his droppings.  Biggest problem is that he likes to scratch and dig the ground after doing his thing.  Unfortunately, that results in digging up all the mulch that I spread around the new plants as well as destroying the plants.  I’ve gone out every morning and sprayed the fencing surrounding the plants with something called “No-Go.”  Obviously it doesn’t mean no go to Murphy.  I’m going to try to put up some screening material around the entire flowerbed until the plants are able to take hold and fill in the area.  I just don’t understand why Murphy has changed his “spot.”

Another day and a half and I’ll be off work again…..yay!  Will work in the yard on Friday afternoon rigging up the Murphy proofing of the flowerbed and trimming the bushes (if it’s not too hot).  Then will finish putting in the few remaining plants and cleaning up the yard.  And then I’m ready for summer–provided Murphy cooperates!
