I HATE THEM!!!

In the past week I have received phone calls from Al Gore, Sen. Barbara Boxer, LA Mayor Antonio Villarigosa, Pasadena Mayor Bill Bogaard, and countless volunteers supporting or not supporting a myriad of candidates and propositions.

Meanwhile, you can’t watch tv without hearing from every candidate telling about how great they are–or how terrible the other guy is–and every group (or manufactured group) who have decided they know what’s best for all of us and are certain as to how we should vote regarding the state and local propositions.

My daily mail consists of at least 5-6 political brochures and/or flyers as well.

Do these people not have a clue?!  I am sick to death of political advertising and am ready to just vote ‘NO’ on everything!  And, while there are some candidates that I will be voting for, I’m considering just not voting in many of the races.

Spending all that money on political ads does nothing more than irritate and antagonize me.  I’m sick of other people telling me what to do.  Tonight I got a live voice on the other end of the phone.  Too bad for her.  I told her I was fucking sick of all these damn political phone calls and slammed the phone in her ear.  Too bad for her.
