So Patrick gave me the ability to have pictures on my website today! Hooray! Click on the photo gallery link on the left side of the site to go to the pictures. Choose one of the albums at the beginning to see the photos. For those of us who are novices with manuevering around websites, there are some keys at the top of the pictures (just above the border) that allow you to go forward and backward and also let you set up all the pictures in a specific gallery as a slideshow. Put your cursor over the top of the little icons to see what they do.

I got all the pictures uploaded showing all my new windows and then started in on vacation pics from this past summer. That’s when the error code showed up! Patrick tells me he had this same problem and that I just have to give it a rest for a bit and then try again… Hopefully I’ll be able to get all my pictures loaded within the next week or so. Keep checking back for updates.

Had a fun day at “work” today. We went to a parishioners’ beach house at Newport Beach for the day! We were celebrating the 25th anniversary of our head custodian, Javier Benitez. We wandered the beach, had lots of mexican food, drank lots of margaritas, danced and performed lots of skits about Javier’s 25 years at All Saints. We were all exhausted by the time we got back, but had a really great day. The new guy who just started yesterday was unbelievably impressed with his second day of work!

Spent the weekend painting stucco around my new bay window. Still have more touch up painting to do, but at least got one window finished! Should get all the rest done this next weekend, except for the back of the house. Gotta wait till the contractor finishes that up. But I’m finally beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel on this job. Take a look at the pictures in the gallery and you’ll see how worth it this has been!
