The Daily Show is very boring when it’s a rerun of Hillary on the night before last week’s primaries in Ohio and Texas. Somehow the jokes just aren’t funny the second time around. I have come to the conclusion, however, that Hillary’s cheeks are soon going to explode from her permanent huge grin. Those puffy cheeks drive me nuts.

I’m thrilled that Daylight Saving Time has finally begun. It’s so nice to come home and still have over an hour of daylight remaining. And it will only get better over the next few months. It feels right to have extra daylight here, but I’m sure it seems strange in parts of the country where it’s still winter. I always remember the start of Daylight Savings as the start of spring and that seemed right. Somehow it just doesn’t work for me if there are piles of snow and temps way below freezing.

Less than two weeks and it’s Easter. I really don’t like it when Easter comes this early. Just seems weird, especially in places where it still looks like winter. I am looking forward to a couple of holidays off work, though. And then I’m off to Seattle on Friday, the 28th, to finally get to visit Robin!

I’m recovering well from the dental surgery last week. In fact, my mouth feels better today than before the surgery. I am so glad to have it done. The ‘soft’ diet hasn’t been all that great, though. I made some pasta last night and that worked out well, but lunch today was not all that great. Microwaveable tomato soup really doesn’t cut it for me. I think tomorrow I’ll try cottage cheese.
