I saw something on the news about this last night, but got to see it ‘in person’ tonight.  And it was spectacular!  There in the western sky in perfect alignment with one another (and totally visible to the naked eye) were Venus, the quarter moon, Saturn and Jupiter!!!  I’ve never seen Saturn and Jupiter before, mostly because I didn’t know where to look.  Saturn is kind of orange in color and Jupiter has a blue tinge to it.  Of course, Venus is bright white.

I called everyone and anyone I could think of to let them know of this night time spectacular.  If you haven’t yet seen this, check out the western sky tomorrow evening from about 9-10 pm.  Don’t know if it can be seen all over the country, but am really happy it’s viewable here in the west.  You will be amazed!

And the night-blooming jasmine is in full bloom!  I know you’ve all heard it before, but it is such a wonderful scent that I just can’t help raving about it.  I keep going out into the backyard to inhale the fragrance.  I can smell it indoors, but it’s better out in the middle of all of it.

Amazing how I could spend this entire evening marveling at nature and the world.  A wonderful evening indeed!Â
