It’s Friday afternoon and I’m off work for 3-1/2 days.  Stopped at the grocery on the way home and, after picking up a ham at the Honeybaked store yesterday, I’ve got all the fixings for Easter dinner on Sunday.  Menu will include ham, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, fruit salad, deviled eggs, au gratin potatoes, crescent rolls, and pineapple upside-down cake.  Can’t really get started on any of that just yet.  In fact, most will have to wait until Sunday morning/early afternoon.  So now I have to decide what to do over the next few days other than laying around relaxing.  While the relaxing part sounds good, I would like to make some progress around the house so that the relaxing part will feel better in a few months.

Still have to finish my taxes but, after a rough week at work, kinda would like to put that off at least until Monday.  The big decision is whether to work outside in the yard (almost always my preference) or to do some cleaning, laundry, etc. inside.  Have pretty much decided to stay indoors since the weather outside is less than welcoming right now.  It’s been overcast all day and hasn’t really warmed up as predicted.  I can’t complain too much about the weather, though, when I hear about temps in the 20’s and 30’s in Ohio and the possibility of snow flurries in the forecast.  However, it’s just not the way I like when working in the yard.  So the house beckons….
