The front lawn at All Saints has been transformed by a film company to resemble Hogworts Academy. A scene from a spoof of Harry Potter is being filmed at work today. The prep work was unbelievable–they covered the entire courtyard area with layers of sod to completely eliminate any concrete or dirt; they added wood panels to the glass in all the doors to make the door look like solid wood; they added brass signs that say “Hogworts Academy”; and they added stone walls that exactly match the stone on our buildings. It was very fun to watch the transformation.

The filming itself was intrusive and cumbersome. It was unbelievably difficult to go in and out of the office building, but we got a free lunch consisting of baby back ribs, chicken piccata, grilled asparagus, a salad bar and lots of desserts. I ate too much and will be glad to see them leave and see things get back to normal.
